Long weekend
Well, it turned out to be a fun-filled weekend for us. On Saturday we went to a relatives house and swam in their pool. Joseph is starting to do a lot better in the water. Benji was a little scared at first but he warmed up to the water once he had a lifejacket, innertube, and water wings on! When I got in the water, I thought it was a little cool so I was hesitant about letting Katelyn get in the water. I thought she would cry. We put her in and she loved it! She floated around the pool in a baby flotation device, and had a great time. After we swam we grilled up some food, ate, and then the kids got back in the water for a bit longer. On Sunday we went to church and then in the evening we went to a Memorial Day concert by Union Station. We went with my parents and brother and sat out on a blanket near the Liberty Memorial and listened to the Kansas City Symphony play patriotic music, and then there was a huge fireworks show with live canons! I thought Katelyn wouldn't like that either, but once again she proved me wrong. She loved it! Benjamin was the one holding his hands over his ears. It was a really nice evening with a cool breeze. We brought lots of snacks, and the best thing about the concert was that it was free! We also ran into some friends from church that lived in our old ward and that was really nice. On Monday we went to see "Over the hedge" with some family. The kids loved it and the adults did as well. After that we went to Jared's sister's house to have sandwiches and hang out. All in all it was a fun weekend! I think the amount of time the boys have been sleeping last night is a good indicator of our busy weekend. They went to bed last night at 8:00 and they are still fast asleep right now at 7:45!

Katelyn is very cute--is she wearing the outfits we sent or are they still too big for her?
Been extremely busy since returning from a fabulous trip to Sicily. I will send you our photos via Snapfish.
Still working on our renovation--just completed a desing of our entertainment center in the alcove next to the living room. Two pedestals with sculptures by Tony's father, cabinets and soon a plasma screen!!
Trying to figure out a good time to visit my father in St. Louis--will probably be in July.
Hope to see you then.
